Aug. 1st, 2015 09:56 pmBonnie thought that resting in her room would be a good way to recover from coming off her bike.
And it was, initially. Until she wandered into the small kitchen area and noticed a couple of items on the table that weren't there before.
One of them looks like a pair of pants without the leg holes, with a star on it. Another is a photograph, which she stares at for a long time - a girl about four, with an obvious disability in her facial features. When she touches it, there's almost a memory, a feeling, an image of an area of trees and flowers that is familiar, but she's not quite sure where it is.
The third item on the table catches her attention, and she puts down the photograph, picks it up, and looks at it.
It's a nine month AA chip.
She drops it. Who the hell has been in here? Only a handful of people - Autor, Rae, Guppy - know that she's got to cut down her drinking. Only Autor, Guppy and Jay know that she used to be an alcoholic. She can't really imagine any of them coming into her room and leaving this.
She locks the door before she sleeps, but she can't get relaxed.
