The cops eye him - Bonnie has explained that he's her friend. Stuart is by now also present, loitering in the drive, being interviewed.
The EMTs arrive and bundle Turtle into an ambulance. Bonnie comes out of the house.
"We're going to need to take the boys to the station for questioning." one of the cops says to her.
Bonnie hesitates. She feels she needs to go with Turtle, but doesn't like the idea of the boys being interviewed on their own.
